We visited Nauvoo because of family, and had a good time visiting with them. Otherwise, it was one of the worst places I've visited. In EVERY store there was Mormon stuff really in your face...with very little else offered. We know (because our ancestry was involved in it) that there is a lot more history to Nauvoo than just the Mormons. I was hoping for quite a bit more than we found here ...
